God uses the insignificant

Currently working through the Jesse Tree materials provided by Ann Voskamp (link provided below). Yesterday was about the town of Bethlehem and the verse was Micah 5:2.

It reminds us of two things….

  • God has a plan that was / is unfolding. This gives us hope.
  • God uses the seemingly insignificant things in His plan. This helps us to recognize how we can part of His plan.

Advent is the anticipation of the arrival of the Messiah, both the first time and the second. “Say to those with fearful hearts, be strong and do not fear”…… Your God is coming. Wonderful words of hope that remind us that we do actually have some… hope.
